A couple of years prior to joining Club Sweat Jason had moved from a field position where he was constantly on the go, to an office position where he found himself sitting at his desk for hours on end with no break in sight. This new position quickly led to lower back pain, shoulder pain and tight hip flexors. “I was uncomfortable most days, and
constantly felt that I was getting worse as I aged. I knew that if I did not do something about it quickly it would become a larger problem in the long term. The back pain was noticeable during other activities that I did, so I knew it was time to do something about it.”
Before joining Club Sweat, Jason enjoyed dirt biking and hiking but had never really been able to stick to any form of gym routine. “I had tried big box gyms before but could never really get anything regular going”. Jason knew exactly what he was looking for when he let Google do its thing (After 2 years of thinking about a lifestyle change, but never doing anything about it). “I wanted to find a small, local to my work gym, where
I could get one on one coaching, as well as work out with small groups to keep me accountable.” And that’s exactly what he found at Club Sweat. Jason was hopeful that his pain could be dealt with and many other benefits would come from dealing with the main goal- getting out of pain.
When we asked Jay what he has liked most about working with us he gave us this: “The positive feedback, hands on approach and actual results! I am much more confident and feel very good about myself both in how I feel, and how I look as well. First off, the fact that I am out of pain is absolutely huge! And second, I am now in the best shape of my life at the ripe young age of 40!”
Jay’s future is looking bright! He has no plans of stopping this new found lifestyle as he continues to build strength and improve his mobility to ensure that he can be as fit and as healthy as he can be for years to come!
