The Piper Has To Be Paid!
Sheila Mann is a dedicated mother and wife. Sheila has an active social life and enjoys food and drinks. Her motto is “Piper has to be paid.” Although Sheila has always been active in outdoor activities, playing sports or walking the dog it wasn’t enough for her to see the change she was looking for. She was essentially“treading water”. Going to the gym or organized fitness classes never appealed to her. (We’re happy to say the vibe and energy at Club Sweat have really shifted Sheila’s thoughts on that!)
Sheila knew she needed/wanted to incorporate weight training into her already active lifestyle while getting her husband Pat more active. From the minute the stepped into Club Sweat they knew that it wasn’t an ordinary gym and this is a place where they would feel comfortable. As we all know, father time reminds us how hard it is to maintain our weight and keep our body in shape enough to support us in our older years. Sheila had been frustrated for about a year with her normal routine and felt her weight starting to creep up on her as the acts and pains “just didn’t seem to go away”. Before joining, Pat and Sheila had purchased a condo a couple blocks down the road from Club Sweat. While scrolling through her email one day, she received a newsletter from her new condo developers. The article was all about New Year’s resolutions and was actually written by Club Sweat’s owner Dan Ferrato. The following week Sheila and Pat came into Club Sweat for their initial consultation. When starting out with the team at Club Sweat Sheila’s initial goal was to improve her overall fitness level. In January Sheila participated in Club Sweat’s 28 Day Transformation Challenge and her results really started to take off! Sheila is building the body she wants while bulletproofing herself from father time.
What does Sheila like most about her program?, While Sheila still isn’t the biggest fan of the typical “gym” but her coach Darek has really helped her see the benefits of proper movement and weight training. Her sessions are always unique and challenging while being tailored specifically to her goal of hitting 10 chin ups (NO BAND) by summer.
Way to go Sheila and congrats on everything you have accomplished so far! We can’t wait to see you busting out the no bodyweight pull-ups in no time!!
