Your week might have been a complete and utter cluster fuck
Deadline at work, kids had events they didn’t warn you about, you and your spouse had plans for dinner with another couple.
You woke up Monday and realized you didn’t prepare your meals and didn’t schedule your workouts for the week.
Your probably thinking “fuck it” the day’s already shot. I’ll just grab on the go and skip my workout today.
You need to remember something is better than nothing. Your 45-minute workout? Cut it down to 15 minutes. Better yet, use this workout it only takes four minutes. Breakfast? Easy, use a grab and go shake they are so convenient you can even head over to 7/11 and they are pre-made for you!
Will you wake up looking like Jessica Alba or the Rock tomorrow? Probably not.
Will you be utilizing all the sound principles you set for yourself when you first started your fitness journey? Probably not.
But, you turned ” Ah fuck it” into a good day of exercise and eating. Good days act like interest, they compound over time and become habits.
Something is always better than nothing.
Your health and fitness is a journey, not a sprint. One of the best aspects of getting into this life is realizing its more than just what you look like. This journey’s biggest reward is what happens in between your ears.
Being able to balance and take whatever life throws at us is just another bonus to this health and fitness journey you are on.
Embrace having days like this, because it’s going to happen again, and again, and again. If it doesn’t honestly I feel bad for you and you need to have a little more going on in your life.
Remember there is always going to be something.
