Melina was exhausted beyond belief. She had just had her third baby 2.5 months earlier. She was carrying most of the baby weight that had accumulated over the years. Before she became a member at Club Sweat, she wasn’t working out at all when she enrolled. Her weight was fluctuating due to pregnancies and inconsistent diet and exercise. In the past Melina always “worked out” here and there but never as consistent, not since she played sports as a teenager.
Originally, Melina heard about us through Marina. After her last baby was born, she knew she wanted to focus on her health, strength and getting her body back so she came to see us. Melina didn’t like the way she looked or felt, so she decided to make a change.
Her goal she wanted to solve when she signed up was to lose weight, gain strength, and endurance. Melina had this goal on and off for many years. The things getting in the way of her goal was commitment, scheduling, kids, exhaustion, and excuses. She had tried a lot of different things before – gym memberships, different diets, but all didn’t stick.
This time it was different, Melina knew she could finally focus on herself and thus she could achieve her goals.
Working out at Club Sweat has been a comfortable, fun, and motivating environment for Melina. She loves how personal her workouts are and the fact that Club Sweat is so committed to their clients. Also, the convenience of the location and scheduling was helpful!
Some challenges Melina faced as she was trying to reach her goals was learning to crave and look forward to a work out as well as learning how to eat! Thanks to Ashley taking the time and keeping Melina in check, she was able to keep on track.
Melina’s most proud of the weight loss she’s accomplished but she also loves that she has been so consistent and remained committed through the craziness of life. She is proud that she has come this far and she is excited to continue to hit her goals with Club Sweat.
The future is bright for Melina, she is confident and excited for what’s next!
